Cape Swallow Pinot Noir is crafted from 100% Elgin Pinot Noir grapes, hand-harvested between 11–14 February from Bokkeveld shale soils at 300m above sea level. The cool-climate conditions of the Elgin Valley lend this wine its elegant structure, refined acidity, and delicate fruit expression.
This Pinot Noir offers layered notes of black forest gateau, subtle earthiness, and mushrooms, creating a beautifully balanced wine with both richness and finesse. Its soft tannins and savoury complexity make it a versatile food companion, pairing especially well with roast chicken, duck, grilled salmon, and soft cheeses such as Gruyère, Camembert, and Brie.
